Privacy Policy for Sunlit Math
Last updated: August 24, 2026
Sunlit Math ("the app") is a math practice game for kids. This page explains what information the app handles and how.
What the app stores
When you finish a round, you'll be asked to enter a name to save your score to a local top-10 leaderboard. The app stores:
- The name you type in (required — a score can't be saved without one)
- Your score and which operation you played (addition, subtraction, multiplication, or division)
- The date and time you played
This information is stored only on your device, using standard on-device app storage. It is never uploaded, transmitted over the internet, or sent to any server — including to us. We do not have access to it, and it does not leave your device unless you delete the app or clear its data.
What the app does not do
- No account creation, login, or sign-in of any kind
- No advertising or ad networks
- No analytics, tracking, or third-party SDKs that collect data
- No location data
- No access to contacts, photos, camera, or microphone
- No data is shared with, or sold to, any third party — there is nothing to share, since nothing leaves the device
Children's privacy
Sunlit Math is designed for children. Because all data described above stays on the device and is never collected, transmitted, or viewed by us or anyone else, we do not knowingly collect personal information from children or anyone else. If you have questions about how this applies to your family, please contact us using the details below.
Changes to this policy
If this app starts handling data differently in the future (for example, adding an online leaderboard), this page will be updated first, with the date above reflecting the change.
